It's the first that I heard about that...wow, Autodesk are really turning into a proper schoolyard bully. It's about time they were knocked down a peg or two.

It's a good job that they now own almost all of the major 3d apps otherwise it could get messy what with all of them sharing the same interface icons. Luckily Newtek should be safe, Lightwave bizarrely uses words to describe it's tools...what a rediculous idea!

Yes. I've always enjoyed the radical idea of using................actual words.

This sounds like it should have been a patent lawsuit, but Autodesk doesn't own the patent on icons... rather some company like Microsoft, Apple, or Xerox probably.

True, but "Scratch" looks very like flame or combustion or toxik! But i agree, AD will have a hard time to win this lawsuit.
