Hi all,
after a long busy time working on NodeJoe, the Apes are finally back with some great news: The new 1.1 version of NodeJoe, the schematic material editor for 3dsmax is released.
The update - free for current NodeJoe customers, of course - contains a lot of useful features, which will speed up your workflow in NodeJoe like e.g. the possibility of inserting a node into existing connections.
http://www.nodejoe.net/img/insert_edge04.gif
New Features of the 1.1:
Undo/Redo for Nodes / Edges
Insert node into existing connections
Detach node from existing connections / Pass through edge
MultiSub Material Count Option in the NodeJoe options dialog
Image file drag&drop from the windows explorer is now possible -> a bitmap node will be created
Linking from Insocket to the NodeHeader is possible (you don't need to use the Outsocket of the other node)
The "Zoom Extents selected" option now zooms to the extents of the entire nodeview if you use it with nothing selected
DirectXShader Rollout is now displayed within the parameters editor
During saving NodeJoe now prints nothing to the MaxScript Listener anymore
Left mouse drag on a nodeview tab for changing the order of the views
"Select By Material" option also available through the nodes context menu
Preview rendering handling was improved, if you force an update manually NodeJoe will render the preview no matter if the global rendering is on or off
You can define an application for editing your bitmaps linked to a bitmap node
Miscellaneous bug fixes and enhancements
The Thinking Apes want to thank all who helped and supported them with ideas, reports and testing.
If there is still anyone out there who isn't aware of NodeJoe ;) have a look on our NodeJoe website www.nodejoe.net (http://www.nodejoe.net/)
There you can find further information, comments, a full feature list, browse the NodeJoe forum, view online video tutorials, etc.
Best regards,
