I want to cut my model in the middel to add more details......is this possible without using the split polygon tool 100 times ?

I mean is there a tool where i can split a box intwo two with one click?

Just download the PolyPower Tools off a/w's site. It has a tool in it called cut that will do exactly as you are asking.
