Hello guys,
Can anyone please help me to create a subsurface scattering shader (3dsmax10) for objects like Lamp shades, Candle.... I have tried experimenting with (arch&design(mi)) but i am not satisfied with the results. I dont have any idea about sss fast skin material. I thought you guys can help me.

I'm a Maya user but I'm guessing MR in Max is the same. You want to be using the misss fast simple shader not the skin one. A decent free tutorial can be found here - http://gnomonology.com/tutorial/227 - done in Maya but should roughly translate to the same in Max. Hope that helps.
