Looks good. I like your concept sketch. When I thought steampunk Yoda, That is exactly what popped into my head. Nice to see it on paper :)

RageOfAges: Yeah this was the first impression I kinda got from a steampunk version of Yoda. Also I don't want too stray too far from Yoda's head design... in fact I wanna keep it as close as possible. However, with the other characters I will be doing I will completely redesign them.

hugopdionisi: Thanks! I wanna try to get some solid work done on him consistenly coz I really want to complete this challenge.

Not much of an update just added some eyes. I want to get some modeling done on the clothes over the next few days. Also I have also included the early progress on Yoda's head.

Here are is one update on the clothing. Not final designs of course, still going through some design options, I just want something to be there to get the idea of his character which will help me determine the details and personality.

Hi guys, Haven't really done much since my last update but I will try to get as much as I can done before the deadline. I am sure I will go back and redo some things after the challenge but for now just concentrating to complete it and get it to a a decent before the due date.

For this update just did a first pass on the detail on yoda's head and did a quick paint job on Zbrush. I will do the same things on the rest of the body such as the clothes and hands and i still want to add a few more accessories in there. Wanna try to get that done as quick as I can so I can go over them again and pay more attention in refining it.

Good Luck again to everyone else. I am so liking DDS's storm trooper, it is awesome and inspiring.

Here is a full body shot of my Steampunk Yoda but it's not the final proportions. I am still exploring it to suit the whole steampunk concept. I will also do paintovers to get his accessories.
