Just a picture I have been working on for a bit...I may go back later to tweak it out some more but for now its done...

The grass and flower are better than the whales.

not sure if daisys would be underwater... ;)

perhaps some more DOF or blurring of either of the flowers or whales would make the pic more realistic.

the textures make the whales look low poly for some reason... perhaps some more bump or different lighting

well the orcas look... toooo smothe... and the paintFX.... well... to obvious.... not enuf shadows... also u need rock or dead coral...

but it's a good start :)

I think the main problem here is the scale of the orcas, they appear to be the size of a goldfish. And yea you need to add some detail to the whales so that they match that of the environment, either in geometry or textures.

Cool idea. I agree with the suggestions above. One other thing, on a minor note...Orcas aren't really found in tropical waters like you are showing. Maybe darken the water to a little bit more of a navy hue rather than turquoise. Good job, though.

I think the proportion of the ORCA (not relative to anything) is the problem here, they're not quite right - I think the head looks too small and the flipper a bit too big. you can SEE this most evidently in the bigger orca on the left.
