Title: Kemp Remillard Concept
Name: Sanjay Chand
Country: USA
Software: Digital Fusion, Maya, mental ray, Photoshop, ZBrush
Here is my new creature as based on a concept by Kemp Remillard.
The base mesh was modeled in Maya, sculpting was done in Zbrush, texturing in Zbrush and Photoshop, rendering in Maya with Mental Ray, and final comp done in Fusion with some minor post in Photoshop.
The whole thing took about 2 weeks on-and-off to complete. Any crits or comments are welcome. :)

Nice work man!
The face kinda reminds me of the motherAlien in... well "the Alien movies" :P
Are you gonna give it legs as well?
How did you create the saliva? is it post or mesh?
5 thumbs up =)

Awesome work. My only minor critic would be the pose. Maybe something less symmetrical would make it look even more awesome.
Cheers!

Wow, great as usual.
How many polys did you bring in from zbrush to maya for the render? Did you use any maps Normal/Displace

Thanks guys!
etd382:
I imported the level 4 sculpt from Zbrush and rendered the mesh using displacements, as well as with a bump map.
For anyone that is interested, here are the render passes:
