Title: turbaned girl
Name: Ning An
Country: China
Software: Photoshop

It's a copy of a photo shot by Wei Lan, here's the linkage of the original picture:http://photos.nphoto.net/photos/2008-09/04/ff8080811c0fc9db011c2c1dd8af55f7.shtml
I was attracted by this picture at first glance, then i decided to draw it. I spent 12 hours or more in two days and made a great modification according to my friend's critique when about to finish.
It's a hard journey for me , a freshman in art field. Well , maybe I am still far away from ART, however , i just enjoy painting. have fun!

Beaultiful ilumination!

The right eye seems a little strange to me.

Nice work.

I really like the transition from light to shade.
Great painting! :applause:

I remember Caravaggio in Italian painting of 1600...

Beautiful image, however the girl's chin looks too large, her jawline seems too big as well compared to the reference image. Also her shoulders look a little too board and I think those issues combined make her more masculine the feminine. Other then that everything looks really nice keep up the good work!
