View Full Version : Maya - UV problem... pls help!!

I did some 'extrude face' to my model after laying out its UVs. Problem is.. the new faces do not appear in the UV editor. What am i supposed to do?
Please help. Thanks.

You may need to apply a new projection to the new geometry and then sew those new faces together in the UV editor.

one of two:
-The face has it's own UV from 0-1. So if you select the face in the viewport you can go into the UV editor and Ctrl+RMB to convert to UV. If you see the uv points in the corners it has a projection
- The face does not have projection at all. Usually seen as a transparent face with jitter. Then you need to aplly a UV projection. Planar should do the trick, or you could just do an automatic one and tweak it in the uv editor
