This is a matchmoving test for our coming short called YANG
(http://www.yangthemovie.com). Iīm used 3DSMAX 5 Scanline render with Skylight. Tracked with Icarus. No postproduced.

Looks like you matched the lighting pretty well. Except for a couple crucial things. There are no light beams on the car, nor shadows from the objects. Whne it passes from the shadow of the building into the sun light, there should be a shadow casted from the car.

BTW you used the pre-commercial icarus i take it?

Yes, I agree with the tiny problems, but its simply a test of matchmoving in essence. I donīt take care with light beams and shadows from the other objects/buildings.

Nice going there.
I was really enraged that the same day I'd decided to download and try it, it wasn't there anymore. Damn commercialism.

it's pretty interesting to hear about icarus...

I heard, one company bought icarus from the university,
and now the commercial package price is raised about 300%.
which really hurts those companies which have been using
it.

btw, I am looking for some tutorials about camera tracking...
does anyone know where to find some?
