Hi and welcome!

It's somewhat hard to offer you much of a critique on something not finished, but for what you have painted, you show some very good contrasts and colors, and designs in your composition.

Your anatomy is bad. The legs are far too long, even allowing for the foreshortening of her bending forward, and the drooping breasts, while accurate, are not the most attractive.

Don't worry, hang around here long enough, and you'll get over the shyness of talking about your work. We'll ask enough questions, you'll soon be comfortable!

I read it as her sitting and having a birds eye view. Since you have two viewers seeing two different angles you'll want to take steps to clarify. The character and background don't mesh together as if they are in the same scene. The easiest way to address this is to work with shadows and fix anatomy. Also might consider adjusting the pose a litte. If the separation is intentional then you will need to find another way to achieve it effectively.

But you're right. Better values (along with better anatomy) would visually clarify the setting.

My first thought was that she was leaning forward as she went through a curtain. Like she came out quickly and bowed, pushing the curtains back. If she were sitting, the angle of her wrists looks a bit painful.

Her head is looking a little small, especially considering the broadness of her shoulders and hips.

Hairline looks as though she's wearing an orange wig, but that may just be me?
