OK hopefully I'll be able to finish this one I'm still bucking for my internship so don't know how much time I'll have ...
Here's a Rough concept
This is or was the archangel Michael. In the constant war between heaven and hell that rages unseen to mortal eyes Michael was captured by the forces of Hell. His wings were brutally torn off and he was tortured mercilessly. After a century of Torture Michael escaped. No Longer posessed of his angelic purity he no longer has a place in Heaven so rather than dwell with the ignorant souls of the earth Michael has returned to Hell determined to Overthrow Lucifer and take his place.

OK quick update before I crash Got the head roughed out .. I"ll probably do two heads one with the Horned helmet and one without don't know which I'll use in the final though .

Just a small update as I get rollin' today got his ears on and his braids now on to the body .

the head's coming along nicely :). Good character concept. All that armor is going to look sweet!:bounce:

OK I just went and looked at the challenge site ..... whew so much for what I thought was an original idea so I'll keep my character concept but the back story is gonna change there is already like 3 Angels ... oh well back to work :wip:

and hey, the more angels we have floating around the better the chances that we can make a fighting game if we combine them...
I want to see the armor too!

OK started the armor now right now I'm only working on the right side but I have it mirrored to help me keep my proportions right I'll come back and bulk up the left side later . looking SWEET! whats the current poly count? I am really liking the armor :). he would be great for a fighting game. Maybe vs, my clumsy duck character.

thanks for the encouragment guys If I left him like this and didn't strip him down some he is right at 3900 somethin . But I''ll strip slome polies out and pick some up on the bulkier side of the armor because of the simpler shapes enough to squeeze a weapon in :) I went ahead and welded him and did a quick AVI rotation like he is now and threw him on my portfolio site if you wanna see it its Here (http://stygianstudios.com/kinght.html)

Dude, that's sweet.
The helmet rocks.
The armor kinda looks spawn-esque. But that's not a bad thing. :)
Did you hack his ponytail off for the helmet or just stuff it somewhere?

storywise the ponytail is under the helmet ... modeling wise I hacked it off :twisted:
and the spawn comment is not really suprising I have alot of Mcfarlane's toys on my desk
