Does your fbik setups work with animation layers? Mine doesnt.

I notised a difference between maya2008 and maya2009 in selecting hikEffectors.
in 2008, maya autoselects also the animation characters when selecting a hikEffector
but in 2009 this autoselecting doesnt happen and when applying an animation layer
only the selected effector is added to layer so its obvious that the rig isnt in sync
anymore if only the effector is animated.

is this a bug or is something turned off ?!

first my rig was made in maya2008 then opened in 2009 = didnt work
then I remade the rig again in 2009 but = still not working

it works actually but the rig doesnt update correctly sometimes effectors move but rig doesnt. and sometimes its other way around.

edit: Or is it that animation layers work only in selected keying mode?

animation layer just doesnt seem to accept a character as a member. even if it is selected
when creating a new layer. argh

I got it working. I just selected everything under humanIK group when creating a new animation layer
