Hi,

I don't have AE at hand right now, so this is from memory:

Right-click the footage file, choose "Interpret as..."

In the interpret dialogue, there's a list box called "Deinterlace", or something along those lines.

The default choice is "None", but you'll want to choose "Lower field first" or "upper field first". Either one will deinterlace your footage.

Cheers,

Or if you only have Photoshop (which is a dumb suggestion seeing as how this is in the AE forum...lol) and your footage is an image sequence use the filter in there for De-interlacing and make an action out of it, then apply that action to whatever folder contains your frames. This is just another suggestion.

Cheers

Select your footage in the project window and press Ctrl+F (win)
Command+F (Mac), and select upper or lower field, you can also turn on motion detect for best mode only.

See Ya!
