View Full Version : Baking Mixer animation back out
hi there,
I've just got a quick question about the mixer. I was wondering, after you've blended together a few clips, is it possible to then bake the raw curves back into the objects?
thanks - petey

Yes
You can:
Select all your clips and and transistion effects you and
From the Mixer Menu Clip>Create Compound
This will take all your animations and make one clip.
Next Select the new Compound clip and from the Mixer Menu choose Clip>Freeze to New Source.
This makes a new source that you can use.
You can now delete the compound clip from the Mixer.
Open the Explorer and find that newly made Source and select it.
Then Animate>Actions>Apply Action.
That should do it.
There may be an easier way and if so, please some one chime in. But this is how I do it. Sounds a little complicated by its actually like 3 steps.

It's so crazy it might just work!
Thanks for the excellent description. I'll give it a bash.
