View Full Version : getting measurements in Maya
sean3dmonkey 10-14-2008, 10:48 PM Hello, is there a way to get bounding box info of a model? Can I get the XYZ measurement of a model as it stands in space? is there a display that will give me info like it is 10 cm in the X, and 20 cm in the Y, and 15 cm in the Z?

Look at this command (in maya 2008)
exactWorldBoundingBox
It returns float[] xmin, ymin, zmin, xmax, ymax, zmax.
