CGTalk - Toon Shader: Help!

Hello,
Having a heck of a time to get this toon shader to work. Downloaded this shader off of Highend3d.com and it seems to work... albeit on only some objects (sooo annoying). For some reason, it seems to like the rounder objects, but as you can see on the cone object, this is still not working. I'm hoping someone has some experience with Toon-shading out there, please help!

Totally depends on the quality of the shader, and the skills of the shader-manipulator (you!).

You don't say which app. and which shader. Here's a cool one I saw recently, for Maya...
