I made a cg house on a 2d pic the pic being the envirement here is the question

if the background is an envirement map
now if i want to make a movie
lets say a small cam movement
how would i go about locking the enviroment
so that it dosent follow the cam as it moves or zooms most likely
i thought of maybe projecting the pic onto simple geometry still that dosent seem simple enough for the minor cam movement I want there must be a way of making the envirement stay where it is when the cam is moving no?

Geometry is the easiest way.

If you really don't want geometry, you could place the bitmap in a material in the Material Editor, decrease the Tiling spinner(s) to scale it up, animate the Offset spinner(s) to pan it, then put this bitmap in the Environment slot. But it might not match the camera movement very well.

I always forget that one too.

It's a modifier. I always think map for some reason.

Apply a camera map modifer.

Hope that's what you meant.

If you're asking what I think you're asking:
Look up
Spherical/cylindrical/shrink wrap environment.

The default is screen, and that follows the camera.

Can you post what the bkg image is supposed to look like, on its own? Not easy to see all that's wrong. Yes the edges are bad, but what's going on around the ground?
