yes pen tutes are good, but if you go to duber web site, there is a tutorial on facial rigging that taught me a huge amount. I eventually converted it all into a maxscript.
Also, of course jason osipa's stop staring is the hallmark. I use max and spent a lot of time writing a maxscript that created his facial UI rig and all the linkages necessary . It was a very useful exercise.

Thanks for the mention. My forth rigging DVD covers two methods for rigging faces but more then that it covers many tools and methods that can be used in other areas of rigging.

If you get them I hope that you enjoy them.
