I especially love the details on the face. The texture of the skin looks very alien like, yet natural, almost feels like I know what it would be like to touch it.

I've got a question about the cloth threads that you have on the clothes. Its well textured and flows correctly. Was curious if you just used a standard primitive and laid out uvs prior to deforming it to look more natural.

Could you elaborate a little about the texturing of that cloth bit? Wanna compare workflows. Thanks.

Very cool stuff, I'm lovin' it! The only thing that bugs me is that his left eye looks a bit weird. Almost like the pupil is missing or something, which I'm assuming isn't intentional, although I suppose it could be.

Great piece

The only thing I could critique is the difference between the detailed cloth material with its fabric bump and the less detailed face. Some subtil wrinkles could have added a bit more life and wisdom to the guy. ...anyway, nice design, colors, lighting and well deserved frontpage
