Hi,

My problems this: Im building the head control sliders for a rig, usually i just point a camera at them and put it in a separate panel but this time i thought id try and build a mel window for all the controls like i have seen in several rigging reels. So i built the window and the best way i could come up with is to use the modelEditorPanel to to look at the face controls, if this isn't the usual way its done then please tell me.

The thing is i made the thing then noticed that none of the maya keyboard shortcuts work while i have this window selected. So if an animator wanted to key something or undo a mistake using ctrl-z or anything else using hotkeys then they would have to select the main maya window press the keys then go back to the control window to continue animating. This seems a bit impractical and i can already see the grumpy animators.

Any help would be most appreciated.
