I hope so too.
I loooved the allegory of the rise of a fascist state in the original
and I am hopeful that this idea will be revisited in full force.
In my opinion, this is what we need more off, Sci-fi with a clear social message.

The original first 3 or 4 episodes were great. After that the whole thing rather peter'ed out

The creator of V, Kenneth Johnson was ousted from the second mini series.
And he had nothing to do with the tv show that followed it.
I bet he will completly ignore the sequels to the original Mini.
