I'm pretty much starting to read most of your postings with anticipation... you seem to be a pretty hot contributor to the community and I am extremely greatful but... would it be too much to ask why we need these and... if at all possible it would be extremely cool and make this an even better resource if you could give an example of how you use it/them.

David does a great job of explaining what each plugin does on his site.

I find all of them invaluable for modeling. Once you start using them you will realize why they are needed.

Modeling in LW is already great, and David's tools just make it more pleasurable.

The Fix 3-5 Polys and Super Shift are fantastic tools. I love the way Super Shift works on an avg normal.

Yep, supershift is great. Newtek should have made smoothshift to work this way in the first place.

After I tried all those tools LW jammed up and crashed. So some of those tools are buggy. Dont know which ones exaclty.

yep, I use the DI Powertools everyday I even remaped the LW default Smoothshit to David's supershift... it is great. I also love the loop and ring select, they are all very handy. My favorite set of plugs to date.:thumbsup:

i like ths pack too. the only plugins i use actualy(i am new to lightwave). di2 extender saves a lot of time if u like this kind of modeling ...
but i cant figure out how fix 3-5 works ? any ideas ?

fix 3-5 will attemp to find any instances of a triangle adjacent to a pentagon.

it doesn't merge and then redivide to make 2 quads. what it does is add a point to the middle of the shared edge. now what was previously a tri is now a quad, and what was previously a pentagon is now a hexagon. it then divides the hexagon from the newly created point to the point opposite it on the hexagon, splitting it into 2 quads. then you have 3 quads.
