View Full Version : strange nurbs render
Phwhitfield 06-09-2003, 12:36 PM Hi, I tried to make a latter with a handling made out of a nurbs cylinder. To close this cylinder i just narrrowed the CVs. This looks good in the perspective window, but the render does this:

I'm not 100% sure but i think last time i looked at my scene it didn't happen :hmm:

Can you show us a wireframe view? Maybe you need more isoparms? Increase the tesselation or convert to polygons. See what happens.

no problem, thank you:

maybe you are right about the isoparms... But do i need so many if i just have a straight line?
In the attribute editor check the display render tessellation under tessellation - now you'll see how it will be rendered. Enable advanced tessellation and play with the settings to get it right.
