Title: First Metal Study
Name: David Lesperance
Country: USA
Software: 3ds max, Photoshop, VRay, XSI

Hey so the week has been hell, but I've managed time to post last weekends work. Done in XSI, rendered in max and textured in photoshop. The model was really fast about 6 hours. Textureing happened in that time frame as well. Rendering was kinda cool different light set up then normal. I want to start to focus on objects in an environment and at this point a focus on Metal, Any feedback is great I'll post a sample of the maps too, check my port to see, any feedback is great, Thanks again,

The first thing that lept to mind was that this could be one of the robot sculptures in Gibsons "Mona Lisa Overdrive". You know, the ones that Slick creates in the rust waste land Dog Solitude. Anyway.. hehe

Perhaps there is a tad too much colours on it but apart from that, I like it.
Love to see it in an environment.

Oh, if you haven't read that book, do it and perhaps you'll get some inspiration.
