View Full Version : EXOTIQUE 4 :: Tutorial
PaulHellard 10-09-2008, 02:37 AM Hi there,
Andrius Balciunas has sent CGSociety a thorough tutorial of his creation of a CG Supermodel. Using 3ds Max to sculpt the body and face, then Ornatrix to mould the hair, Balciunas has brought together quite a package. Click the image to read the tute and feel free to comment.

She's really beautiful - and looks a little (or a little more) like Ivanka Trump too :-)

Andrius is really talented. Besides 3D skills, he demonstrates great aptitude for music that goes side by side with the computer graphics. Undoubtedly, he is a creative personality with huge potential!
Recently he was interviewd for the Templates.com Blog.

When you reference your application of jewelry, you mention having more control....any chance you could add a few screen shots demonstrating this technique, as sculpting the fine patterns has been mind-boggling.
thanks,

3ds max for base mesh, Zbrush for details and Vray for render - as far as I know...
But the important thing is the techiques and results. Not the software... (well okay applications are important too - but you know...) Some other talented artist can capture the same results with Maya / Mudbox and Mentay Ray for example.
