Hi guys, this is my second rendering of the ibanez chrome boy guitar ( you can view the 1 render with diffrent floor and rendering in my cg portfolio ) and iam considerating it as my second tribute to satch (joe satriani).
Modeled and renderd in lightwave using fprime, lots of postprocess done in photoshop with some overpainting.
hope you guys will like it.

Satriani is a god. The glasses are what definitely say Satriani in this. Nice homage to Crystal Planet's album art.

I'm looking for examples of Guitars in 3D as I'm working on one right now. I wonder if you'd mind showing your wires for this? I'm having a little trouble working on the wires for the body of mine and would like to see how someone else has done it to get a little inspiration going :)

Wow, that looks WAY simpler than what I have (though I have added a few smoothers onto my mesh...).
I guess you're using nurbs (or is it called something else in LW)? I started mine with create poly... Maybe I should start my own thread before I hijack yours further :) I'll post some wips in there.
