OK, I'm rigging a character in A pose (first one for me). When setting my control icons for the hand I ran into an orientation problem whereby the main hand orientations and the controls were different. I simply used a null group to align the control to the hand. This causes another problem.
My hands local translation axis is off (as in no longer the squared up like in world space) but I cannot fix this without separating the rotation and translate controls or throwing my controls rotation axis off.
Now I know that a lot of people rig in A pose for binding purposes and I am wondering if anyone has a work around for this. (remember, if you freeze transforms, it resets the rotations)
Any help would be awesome. Thanks!
