I think they are both great. The day one has a bit og the morning after look to it. You know. 5 or 6ish and deserted. Top job!

I didnt paint anything because I plan to render a roller coaster
anim...
But I rendered the backgound part seperatly and composed it together ( From the point of the frog on..)to keep the polycount low..

really like the cartoony style thats in your images and anims

I think I prefer the night render, but thats mainly because I prefer the sky and the bright neon lights

Hey!Sormann,
That is excellent work!!....i love the general atmosphere and mood on both the night n Day pics. How long did the first (day) project take to create?Theres seems to lots n lots of work in there :buttrock:

Did you change the location of the elements, or use a different camera lens? Everything in the night version seems closer together. I really like it as it feels even more packed in than the daylight version, and the greater contrast really makes everything leap out at the viewer.

Another awesome image.

heya sormann!

beautiful work as usual. i think that you've pulled off both versions quite successfully but here is my only criticism:

you excel at adding exquisite detail to you pieces as well as demonstrating a sensible balance but i think that the night scene is too muted. for an amusment park the lights are too sparse and the signs are not as diverse or themed as they should be. where's all the color? a theme park at night should make a person feel like they're on a different planet. the hard part is to not go overboard and to add just the right amount of extra lights and detail to keep with your style but i'm sure you'll pull it off. you always do :)

Is that a paintover?

If so, beautiful work!

If that's a direct render, then....WOW!

Wow, looks awesome! I loved the daytime one when it was plugged, but that night time one looks great too! With all the lights, it looks like the themepark has really come alive!

Thanks for the feedback!

All in all I think I will use the night version to do the
animation, maybe I will add more smaller signs ...

brittnell:I plan to create a wallpaper section on my homepage
soon and will add a big version of this scene as well

mental :I think I know what you mean.. I will add more smaller
and detailed signs

They both look really good.
I like the night time one best because there's more
depth in the image.
The lights really add to your scene.

Go with the night time one .

Thanks!
It worries me a bit that you can not download the animations.
I use an standart mpg compression.
What happens when you klick on the anims thumbnails?
nothing?
an error message?
Can you download it via right click and save as?

The night version looks more "right" to me, it just seems to have more character. Both of them are great though!

Love the work and whole concept, if any suggestion on daytime, maybe lessen the activity and make it more deserted as this is what you are going for Me thinks.

looks great,

if your going to do an anim of it, as they both look cool, why not do a time lapse between the two, so you quickly go from day into night, it would set the scene nicely!!

Agree more little signs needed, cool work, keep it up
