I'm having a problem rendering stuff with the correct UV's when using the Render To Texture option. I have this game model of mine, all mapped with the uvw-unwrapper, and now I want to add a shadow to the model with a skylight. The problem is, when I render the texture, it automatically unwraps the thing completely different from my textures, making the rendered texture completely useless...
Is there a way to render the texture using the already existing uv coordinates of the model? (turning the automatic unwrap mapping off in the render to texture dialog doesn't work, as the rendering just won't start :( )

Any tips are really really appreciated!

Under the Selected Objects Settings rollout (where you choose the texture elements to render,) make sure you roll the spinner for Use Channel back to the UV channel you've used to unwrap. Have a look in your unwrap UVW to see - the default is 1. If it's set to a channel with no UVs and Auto Unrwap is not checked it will render black.

Hope this helps :D
