I've been working in Maya now for about 11 months now and I've notice that a lot of 3D Artists use tablets. I was curious what people recommend for someone just starting out like I am. I do draw and model a little, but I'm mostly interested in character animation. I just got accepted in to Animation Mentor for this Winter (Jan 09). Can't wait to get started!
