View Full Version : weird painting nearby sews via 3dPaint tool on 3d objs

I m sure that maya developers visits this cgtalk.

3d paint tool is a good feature tool and better than programmes what I notice following.. but:

should be good to see solve the problem (about painting 3D objects) weird painting nearby sews like:

a) Deeppaint 3d with texture weapons's projected mode

or

b) ZBrushs texturemaster

I think this wouls be good on next release on 3dpaintool feature

well the 3d paint tool paints over uv shell borders just fine. i agree with deep paint 3d , but i think its buggy in some place, my wacom tablet works with it soemtimes, sometimes not even though i have the latest drivers. i export from photoshop i get outlines from were my brush was? then i have to repaint over all of that. i try and get as far as i can in deep paint then fix the rest up in photoshop. i got to try zbrush before, but its i think alot to absorb, its incredible what all it can do. i think it gets counter productive when your painting you accidently deselect your object, then you have to recreate it again? i never got around that.
