hi i'm new to this forum so i'm not sure if this is the appropriate forum for this kind of a question but here it is:

let’s say i need to make an applicaton where i need to model some geometric object... the parameter values for the object are taken as user input (e.g. the radius, colour, opacity parameter etc. of a spherical object will be taken as user input) and i need to model this object... so the inteface where the user input will be taken is designed in an OOPL (say java) n then i need to send these parameters to the modeling software in order to model it.... so basically my question is: is there any modeling tool/software which has the capability to be integrated with java or other object oriented programmming languages ? the basic aim is to be able to control and manipulate th modelled object using java or any other suitable OOPL

I know that Maya and blender have strong python connections, I don't know about the others. In fact blender is built from python and is opensource so it might be the best way to go.

Cheers Dan
