View Full Version : Looking for cable greebles?
Valandar 10-03-2008, 01:33 AM Everyone knows about the excellent plugin "Greeble", which is great for making external ship surfaces and the like. I have no questions about that.
I DO have a question as to whether or not there is either a plugin or a script that makes tubes, pipes, and cable-style greebles procedurally or the like. If there isn't, I guess this means I have to do it the old-fashioned way with making splines then turning them renderable?

I wouldn't use that version, it hasn't been updated in 8 years. I'd use WireBundler here...

Thank you! Gonna try it out, hopefully it'll work for what I want - I'm planning on making some starship wreckage...

Actually, there are many great scripts in the soulbourn collecton. I use many of them everyday in production. I would recomend everyone check them out. Thanks Neil.

There's also the option of using particles and using either a script or Ghost Trails to create splines from the trajectories.
Cheers,
Steve
