Saw this comming. Was just there aobut a week and half ago (MGM that is). You could see the sparsity already. I asked one of the guys what the deal was, he said they were hearing rumors of more crunching. Damn shame.

I suppose Disney thinks it is going to be able to do its own 3D stuff in the near future. At least it sure seems that way seeing as how they are tossing all the traditional guys out first :\

what a crock! with eisners bonus alone of $5million dollars they coulda kept those 50 animators around for another year. eisner is evil. he's a greedy bastard running the companey into the ground. disney stocks have gone up slightly lately.... but did they really have anywhere else to go? if he were a truly great leader he would give his entire bonus minus the stock options back to disney. if not... they need to get rid of his sorry ass
