View Full Version : biped - reset bone pivot?

hey all,
for the game i'm currently working on, we are stuck with biped. i wanted to change the joint position of the head, so i used the 'affect pivot only' tool to move the head pivot to where i want it to be. it works all well and good in max, but the exporter doesn't recognize this new pivot location, and in-game the pivot i'm seeing is the original biped position. obviously this pivot is stored somewhere deep inside the spider web caverns of biped, but i can't seem to find a way to restore it - does anyone know if there's a way to set biped back to 'default' pivot positions?

i ended up just resetting the pivots in figure mode and moving the head so that it is where i want the pivot to be, which meant scaling down the proxy geo so that my biped now looks like the guy from the end of beetlejuice. it works :x
