Hello everybody

I own an Intuos2 and am very happy with it ... however i was planning on buying the "ink-pen" and later maybe the airbrush. (just for the heck of it - trying if it can improve my workflow.. the inkpen actually might - as it physically really writes ^^)

Well... noticed something strange ...the price...(in my country)
Intuos2 inkpen: 90€ (lowest price available - but temp. not available, so more like about 100€ if u'd actually want to have it within this year)
Intuos3 Inkpen: 82€ (very available)

Intuos2 Airbrush: 132€ (same as int.2 inkpen...right now available at about 145€)
Intuos3 Airbrush: 128€ (very available)

only reasonable conclusion: my intuos2 equipment is getting antique and I'll be able to sell it for 10k€ soon :surprised: (well either that or the shops just don't update their prices or just don't care)

now i am wondering, since the equipment seems to have the exact same specification on both Intuos2 and 3 products: Would the Intuos 3 equipment work with my Intuos 2 tablet?

most probably not.
I think they change the freq between models to avoid this...
but an intuos pen will work with a cintiq..

Hm thats what i thought. too bad :/

but i guess if an intuos pen works at a cintiq it should work vice versa as well... I might try that once i overstock on money (which won't happen too soon)
