not bad :D definetly on the right track

two crits,
you need to push the eyes and the eye sockets further back into the head, compare yours to some reference picture and you will see what I mean :)

and then a tiny one with the mouth, everyone says it, not to end the edges of the mouth in a vertex, end it with an edge

Great job until now,

Here are some suggestions to make him look more realistic.

Add ore relief in his face, like an orange but not as bumpy of course, just look at your skin, skin has got thousands of litle bumpy holes on it, try adding some, try coating the chin with some facial hair, like afetr 2 days without shaving, just put a grey bumped texture there if you dont wana put hair.

If i think of something else i'll post it.

Good head, but he doesn't look really asian. Maybe because the textures need work or lack of hair or something. Try getting rid of the double eyelid to make it look more asian. This is one facial feature that most asians lack (double eyelid as in the crease about the top eyelid)

nope, don't really look asian.

head looks to big for the face.

mouth is not big enough and lips are to flat and thin.

nose is wayyy off.

you need to define the cheeks and other areas more.

thanks for your comments :)
i haven't started texturing yet thats why the textures look like they need a lot of work ;)
i want to finish modeling first

here (http://www.asianbleph.com/faq.html) is a link about asian eyelids. it says that about 50% have double eyelids but i'll just try removing it and see if it looks better or not.

edit:
here is an update:
i shrank his head, maybe a bit too much :hmm:
his nose still needs some work but i hope i'm on the right track

Very cool!

A little fine tuning here and there and it should really come together.

Everything is there he just needs some tweaking.

finally, here is an update. i guess he still doesn't really look asian, but as i am happy that he looks human i don't care about asian-specific features, or at least not yet.
i know he doesn't look realistic, but i don't know why :hmm:

well.. he doesn't look realistic because every one of his recognizable features is off. his eyes look like they're square on the inside edge and his nose is missing nostrils and his mouth is too uniform and flat. his ear is too thin in parts and is missing some parts as well. it's also all folded up in some areas.

that eyelid looking thing above the eye doesnt make any sense either.

his cheeks need to be pushed out and rounded as well. they're flat and bumpy.

good luck. heads are tough.

looks much better already, but it still is far from perfect so give me more critics :)
