Hi everybody,

after 3 years working and many more as a visitor on CGTalk, I think it is time
to participate. So here is my latest reel. It may be a bit long to load, if it takes too much time, let me know.

Please tell me what you think about it

Edit : here is a divx version (http://jrhum78.free.fr/videos/DemoReel2008_divx.avi) (hope it will download faster)

Cheers ,

Yes, my god.. it took forever to load and I'm on insanely fast internet, lol. Anyway, interesting stuff dude! In my opinion, start off with the clips of the realistic people in the building (chick shooting guy, fire, 50 cent, etc) because those were definitely your best work. Those and the fight scene (mocap?) and soccer ones. The walks and runs in the beginning were good, but I think the filter you put over everything (flickery old film style) kinda killed it. Part of me liked that, but it really does take away from your animation. The ventriloquist part was a lil out there. It had good parts, but I wouldn't include that much of it. It's all in how you set up the clips. When it started I thought this was just another graduate reel, but as it progressed it looked like you've been working for a few companies. Always start with the best. That being said, awesome work! Keep it up

good work.

I agree with changing the order. Show the last things first. But above all my main comment would be. It's way too long. Trim it down to 2 mins or so. Some parts really dragged. You were showing too much of the same thing.

Best of luck!
