The car does not really look that realistic. It got a kinda cartoon style on it becaus of the gi. Anyway, I love 3d cartoon so this rock!!

I like this car. Is it a real car or did you imagine it up?
I like it.

The car seems to be over illuminated, but it's well modeled, good work :bounce: :bounce:

Very nice piece of modelling and great to see a little known car making an appearance. :)

Crits: Textures let it down somewhat.. relections seem a bit overdone. Chrome doesn't look like chrome.. only the wheels on the photos I've seen have that matte look.. the chrome looks pretty standrd...this shows mostly on the side windows where the surround is slightly too wide and not given enough break with the door fitting giving the car more of a toy like appearance.
No side indicators or windscreen wipers.. touches like this help a model have scale and look less like a model.

Overall though a very nice effort indeed.

I was going to say that only your modeling was good because of the noticeable cg look of the tire texture and of the interiour when i saw the first pcture... but when i saw the pictures more at the bottom I changed my mind. 9.5/10 (10 being real life vehicle)

Excellent. :applause:

Never seen that car before :)
Not bad, a litle like a old ferrari!
Not only the engine is from chevrolet, the rear window looks from a corvette stingray

I was googling a litle and found some pic.

Maybe U know them already:

Overall U made a great model. I guess U had no blueprints?

But, please tweak the surfaces more!!!

Cya.

Thanks for comments.

I forgot to say it was entirely made with Blender 2.27 and rendered with Yafray 0.0.4 (freeware  )

I know all and see all things Blender related on cgtalk. Forreal. Hehehe. Who talking advertisements? Blender just happens. And the rest is history. Hehe.

Great Yafray render!

speedtiti, can you tell us how long it took you to render your Bizzarini 5300 GT Strada in Yafray?

Sure, it takes 20 to 30min with 3 AA and using the Quasi montecarlo sampling for the hemi light in YableX.
But i render it with a P4 2.5ghz...

I'm getting that same amount of time on my yafray renders. I have to try that quasi montecarlo stuff out. Cool render!

cool car, but as was said before, the car seems overlit. Was HDRI used to light/help in the renders? If so, you might want to turn its intensity down a little.

I used only hdri lighting for these pictures (with lower intensity).
