View Full Version : Mirroring shapes

Hey!

I have some shapes on one side of my character, and I want them to be mirrored on the other side.

Is there any way to do it? My character is weighted and animated, so playing with the geometry might be out of the question.

Thanks!

I asked the same question on either xsibase or soft.net and someone had a nifty script do just that, search over there and you will find your answer. I believe the object has to be symmetrical for it to work.

I tried the addon on Highend 3D that was supposed to do it, but it gave me nothing on my characters, but it worked on a sphere, so I guess it's outdated.

Thanks, I'll take a look!

is it called sym_shapes_pb.addon, that is the one I use, and it works fine (64 bit too), it shows at the bottom of the shape menu bar. You select the shapes in the explorer you want to mirror, then press the button.
