I've known about Sega's animanium for a while know and I'm glad to see it making major waves. It is a major innovation to animation and also display sega's passion for making things easy.

Got to see it in action at E3. It was tough to get a lot of answers, the guys at the booth were trying their best to speak english. Very cool and easy to use, would REALLY like to try before I would buy.

Hey, this is the same stuff I got on my ordered Demo Video CD..But still...it's groundbreaking. I hope, that this way of animating will be a new trend in 3D. End with complicated rigging, with useless controls itp...What I most like about this soft, is that animator is completely focused on animation. And that's great in my opinion. Hey Animanium Guys :wavey: maybe you'll kill us all by providing any tryable version?

This looks like a great option in certain cases, but studios will always need setup people. No company will be able to predict every possible setup. If anything Sega has shown how to do it. I can't wait for Maya, 3D Studio, Lightwave, etc. to get their own copys of this type of software.

Wow!! the videos make it seem sooo easy to use... I haven't really done much 3d animation, just some drawn 2d stuff for class.... but whoa that looks awesome! :applause: :applause:

this is going to be revolutionary!

If this is as easy to use as they show, this will be a major innovation. Personally, I really like tools that focus on the art of creation, other than the technical side of things.

One thing that doesn't show in the animations is how you would integrate the model into the rig?

Can't wait to see more about this.

I have been testing it for the last week(s). It's a nice program however I had some problems to try the exporters to other packages - mainly because the manual is still in Japanese :)

Beta testing ends October1st, so maybe they say something after this date?
