View Full Version : Particle Flow, Animated Texture?

This is something have wanted to do for ages.

Is there a way to assign an animated texture i.e.(*.mov, *.avi not procedural) to a particle system so that each newly born particle receives the animated texture from the point it is born and renders accordingly?

I don't think it is possible with the old max particles. Is it possible to do this in PF?

I hope I'm clear.

don't forget to add delete operator so that pflow knows the age of each particle.

use particle bitmap instead of the old bitmap

Yup particle bitmap does just that.

Was it always there or is it part of PF?

Works with regular particles too. :)
