I was wondering if anyone knows any tips or software I can use to import skinned animation from Max or Maya into Soft3D 3.X or 4.0...
I'd greatly appreciate any feedback !

I've had trouble bringing in my animations. I'm exporting a Biped animation with Physique from Max to a dotXSI file and bringing it into Soft3D (_NOT_ XSI). The biped interpretation is fine, and animates perfectly, but my skinned mesh is freaked out... it looks like the T-1000 after Arnold shot the gas canister in its chest in Terminator 2 :)
Can I export skinned animation from Max 4 and bring it into Softimage 3.9 with the dotXSI import ? What settings should I use in the Max exporter ?
Deep Exploration 3d from right hemisphere is what I use for converting, works great in most cases. :rolleyes:

From SoftXSI to Soft3D ? With skinned animation ? Using a dotXSI file ?
And where is the documentation (if any) for the dotXSI to Max plugin ? I really need to see if I'm doing something wrong... and why sometimes Soft3D won't accept my conversions properly.
