It's a great selection for this term with a good mix of old and new. Every term just gets better and better! :D

the fundamentals course, where they'll interview a bunch of great vfx supervisors, looks sweet.
same for "Intro to compositing with Ron Brinkmann"...

New Course Announced! - RealFlow

We've got a new addition to our fxphd October08 Term - RFL201: Particles and Dynamics using RealFlow. Professor Mark Stasiuk tackles teaching what many consider to be a black art: those simulations of natural physical reactions in computer software. Stasuik's company, Fusion CI Studios (http://fusioncis.com/), specializes in creating photo-real fluid visual effects and setting up particle pipelines for companies who wish to do the same.

Check out Mark's site:
http://www.fusioncis.com/

You'll be impressed! Mark consults going into big effects houses to build up their Fluids workflow and pipelines.

Just announced on the website and user forums. Really excited about this !

The orientation week special is up and ready for downloading. We're not doing a torrent for this, since we're in the middle of updating our torrent server. So you can download the movie from one of three locations we've set to help keep the servers from slowing to a crawl.

Pick one (BE WARNED THEY ARE LARGE !):
