The character was created in Blender, The background with Inkscape (an opensource vector graphics app), and the post processing was done with Gimp.
The image could probably benefit from a bit more time in GIMP (the image looks a little dark on the monitor I'm posting from - and I would still like to add more 'frames'/renders for a greater 'comicbook feel'), but it's just a personal piece for me to get used to the software I've used.
