This is my first attempt to create cell animation in 2000.
The motif is to show a drama performance by some kids on stage to mimic the feeling of silent cinema. Initial idea was inspired by "The Thomas Edison Company: Jack and the Beanstalk".
The drawings were first done with pencil on paper with shading then scanned into computer afterward. AfterEffects was used for colour correction and creating the old film look.
