ahoy... My first post and im already asking questions hehe
I am rendering a glass table with objects on it, http://whil.phora.net/digital/room5.jpg but when I put too many objects on it (more than 3) i get thoes blotches under it. I am using photons to light the room. The light is emmiting 100000 photons and im estimating 4000 in a search radius of 400. How can i fix the blotches?
Thanks,
Whil :)

try this , crank those photons up to around 275,000 or so, they calcualte really quickly, so this wont hurt anyas far as render times , then turn the photons in estimate or"samples" up to 10000, and lower the max search radius to around 20, and make sure your "view rate" and secondary rate" are set high enough, start with something like 30, 15

that should get rid of the blotches,

CJ

nope :( tried turning it up to 400000 particles emmited and the in estimate way up as well... and now they are just crystal clear blotches with incredibly defined shape... but still wrong :(. Ne other suggestions?
