Hey all, I feel weird posting the Maya forum, I am a long time Max user. I recently have been trying Maya 5 and I was wondering, since I don't know Jack about this program is and quite iintimidating. I was wondering if there is a way to make Maya more like Max, shortcut key wise. I am having trouble finding my way around the menu.

Well I don't know much about max's shortcuts, but this should help. It's a PDF that compares MAX hotkeys to maya hotkeys.

shure, i forget how max is set up but just got to

window, setting pref, hotkeys. you can assign to your hearts...i would reccomend leaving some keys let alone, just getting use to how maya works. if you do some tutorials and they say press Y to get your tool again, you might not know what they are talking about.
