whats up with the water?? this is one good question....
i had the same one when i was given this job...

so here is what i was told;

this book is written by the son of the author, based on some notes he found from his father...
and i cant answer how, but yes theres water...somehow..

if you search "sandworms of dune" you'll propably come up with other illustrations showing water on Dune...
in any case...dont shoot the illustrator for what he's been told to draw....lol
